I posted some pics from our live session (new video on the way)…
We had a great day at the Village Recorder, thanks to Jeff Greenberg. We were also lucky enough to snag uber-engineer Ed Cherney and a band of insanely talented gents: Lee Sklar on bass, Rafael Padilla and Jo Pusateri on percussion, George Doering on anything with strings.
Chris, David and CJ vowed to to this again, what a riot. Too bad I can’t include the bad jokes that floated around in between takes.
Memories of Summer as a Child, the debut album from The Beyman Bros, will be available in stores and electronically on January 20th, 2009. The album offers eleven tracks of instrumental landscapes featuring appealing and unusual combinations of acoustic and electric instruments. It’s a deliciously rich, post-holiday feast of musical textures and colors!
Hello friends, and welcome to our new website! Please have a look around, listen to some music, and drop us a line or two. We’d love to know what you think. -Doc, Nudgie and CJ Beyman
The Beyman Bros were featured on NPRs Morning Edition. The track Tulong from the upcoming album Memories of Summer as a Child was used as a musical interlude between news segments. Click here to hear and see.
